Hayden Planetarium

Offering a starry dome and much more, this multimedia, interactive facility provides daily departures for outer space, where audiences glimpse everything from actual images of cosmic phenomena to universes we can still only imagine. For a direct look upwards, avid skywatchers can take advantage of the Museum's rooftop Gilliland Observatory, open for Friday night stargazing and safe solar viewing on Saturdays, weather permitting.
