The Wall Street Journal has come up with a list of the Best Hot Dogs and the best just happens to be here in Boston.
A little place called Speeds located in Newbury Square in an area of Boston that the Journal describes as a "not some historic New England green space on the model of the Boston Common, but a triangular parking lot surrounded by bleak wholesale food warehouses in the untrendy Roxbury area. It is not so much a restaurant as a kitchen in a vehicle."
Toasted buns with a Dog Marinated in apple cider and Brown sugar, and then grilled over charcoal. Top it with chilie and relish and onions and there it is - The Best Hot Dog in Boston.
