Public Transportation is Best:
The RedLine Harvard Square Stop leaves you off in the
middle of all the action on JFK Street

take the redline T to harvard square

One Brattle Square: Eastern Mountain Sports, Citibank, Wainwright Bank,
Chipotle Mexican Grill, and General Nutrition Center.

Plenty of Shopping, be sure to stop in the Harvard Coop.
Plenty of Harvard Clothing, hats, everything with a school logo for tourists.
The store is gigantic!

Stop at the visitors center first to get info
on what's happening

Next to the Visitors Center in a National Historic Landmark built
in 1928 houses the iconic Out of Town News,
carries newspapers from around the
nation and around the world.

Local artist and street performers entertain crowds daily.

Grab lunch at the popular Border Cafe
Known for Tex-Mex and Cajun Food

or, try our favorite at Charlies Kitchen on Eliot street,
the double Lobster Roll special

Nearby is the Charles Hotel,
elegant and comfortable with rooms under $200.

Across the street is the Harvard Square Hotel.
A good place to go if you are on a tight budget.
You can get a decent room for under $150.
It is 1/2 block from the T, so not a
bad choice for tourists visiting Boston,
or checking out Local Colleges and Universities.
