Open House at the Boston Sailing

A weekend of free sailing trips along Boston's historic waterfront will usher in the start of the New England sailing season on Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27, 2008, from 1pm to 5pm. The event is organized each year by the Boston Sailing Center
located on Lewis Wharf in downtown Boston. First-time sailors as well as more experienced skippers are invited to join the festivities at Lewis Wharf.

Boston Beer Summit

Taste of Back Bay

The Neighborhood Association of Back Bay (NABB) will hold its 13th annual Taste of Back Bay on Thursday, March 27th, 2008 6-10pm at the Prudential Skywalk. Come and sample some of the finest food and drink Boston has to offer. This year features an international theme with proceeds benefiting the Snowden International Schools Scholarship program as well as NABBs many community programs. Patriots’ Day Parade

The Patriots Day Parade goes forward rain, snow or muck and covers a route of approximately 2.5 miles. Participants include musicians, Minuteman companies, color guards, cultural and youth groups and dignitaries from neighboring towns, the State, the nation, and several foreign countries with ties to Concord. At the North Bridge there is a ceremony to commemorate the engagement between the Minuteman companies and British troops with a wreath laying ceremony. The parade continues across the North Bridge and returns to Concord Center.
