Back Bay Boston Hotel Guide Map

Back Bay is one of the most popular areas for tourists staying in Boston. Located 20 minutes from Logan Airport, half of all Boston's hotel rooms are found in this neighborhood. There are a number of very large hotels centering around the area of the Hynes Convention Center, Boston's state-of-the-art convention facility. There are three hotels connected to the Hynes: The Westin Copley Place, Marriott Copley Place and the largest Hotel in Boston - The Sheraton Hotel. These three hotels alone have over 3,000 rooms between them. Connected by a walkway and open Malls (Shops at Prudential / Copley Place Mall )filled with more than 200 shops and restaurants - perfect for those winter stays, close to Subway T Green and Orange Lines. Just outside the complex are many other good hotel options. Move up towards Trinity Church and you will find the elegant Fairmont Hotel. Good luxury option for those who want to be away from the crowds of convention attendees. Another good luxury option is Jury's Doyle on Stuart Street, one of Boston's newest hotels. The Elegant Ritz Carlton Luxury Hotel is now the Taj Boston, overlooking the Public garden. On the opposite end of Back Bay, on beautiful Commonwealth Avenue (More Residential) is the Eliot Suites, a lovely Brownstone offering luxury European accommodations. Tough to go wrong staying in this area. It's a good option for parents visiting their kids in College in the Fenway area, or across the Charles River in Cambridge, the business traveler going to a convention, or the tourist looking to be in a happening spot with Restaurants, Bars, and Attractions.
