World Oceans Day Festival

Description: Families and everyone interested in ocean conservation are invited to Boston’s waterfront to celebrate World Oceans Day with the New England Aquarium. The World Oceans Day Festival will feature interactive and educational games and activities, music provided by WXRV, The River 92.5 FM, eco-conscious give-a-ways, and craft projects lead by the Aquarium’s educational staff and mascots. It will be a fun and educational day with information about ways we can all live with greater consideration for the environment and the oceans.

The World Oceans Day Festival will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 on the Plaza at Central Wharf, at the New England Aquarium. All activities on the plaza are free. Admission into the Aquarium is not included.

Participating organizations include The New England Aquarium, Mystic River Watershed Association, Charles River Watershed Association, and MIT Sea Grant. For questions, or for more information, visit www.neaq.org.
