Our Downtown Pick for cheap hotel is Club Quarters. You can usually grab a room for under $200 and is a good buy. It's located in the Financial District only 2 blocks from Quincy Market Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Need to spend less...you can move over to the West Side to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Boston Garden.

The Doubletree Club Hotel Boston Bayside, is located next door to the Bayside Expo & Executive Conference Center is located 10 minutes out of Downtown and rooms can usually be had for under $150. It's a bit out of the way but there only one block from the Subway to Boston and Cambridge.

Outside of Cambridge you can try the Days Hotel Boston, located about a mile from Harvard Square. Kind of a basic hotel but you can probably get a under $150 hotel room. The Hyatt Regency Cambridge can be a good deal compared to similar hotels since this hotel is a bit isolated, however they do run a shuttle service to the T.

Under $150 gets tougher. Sometimes you can get a room in Back Bay at the Charlemark Hotel for $129. Near the Theater District you can usually grab a Cheaper Room at the Park Plaza.

In town for a Red Sox Game - Across from Fenway you can try the Howard Johnson Inn Fenway Park for something real basic. Logan Airport Hotels can also be a bargain near Boston. Downtown is a few minutes from the Subway. The room rates at the Hilton Hotel at Logan Airport start as low as $169.
