Doubletree Club Hotel Boston Bayside, is located next door to the Bayside Expo & Executive Conference Center is located 10 minutes out of Downtown and rooms can ususally be had for under $150. It's a bit out of the way but there only one block from the Subway to Boston and Cambridge.

Outside of Cambridge you can try the Days Hotel Boston, located about a mile from Harvard Square. Kind of a basic hotel but you can probably get a under $150 hotel room.

Under $150 gets tougher. Sometimes you can get a room in Back Bay at the Charlemark Hotel for $129. Near the Theater District you can ususally grab a Cheaper Room at the Park Plaza.

In town for a Redsox Game - Across from Fenway you can try the Howard Johnson Inn Fenway Park for something real basic. Logan Airport Hotels can also be a bargain near Boston. Downtown is a few minutes from the Subway. The room rates at the Hilton Hotel at Logan Airport start as low as $169.
